| My in dash CD player is not responding. seems like it stopped working after we messed with the DVD player. we've recreated our steps several times with no luck. could it be as simple as a fuse? radio works great, dvd player works great. except the head phones don't!! where do you find a skematic (sp) for the fuse boxes??? thank you dori |

| I have a 2004 Dodge Durango, limited edition with the Hemi. Up intil a month ago it worked perfectly fine, then one day out of the blue (and of course after paying for a complete tuneup) It blew a rod, blowing straight through the oil pan. Thank goodness for the warranty. Anyway, I get the car back tonight, and it drives beautifully. My mechanic tells me that for some reason after around 109 thousand miles the durangos seem to blow rods. As I entered his shop another Durango same exact model as mine was brought in with the same issue. Anyway, I start driving off, and go to play my cd and nothing. The radio works and the SAT and the dvd player, but its not reading the CD player at all. I was told that they had to take out the engine and the battery, ok fine, but what does that have to do with my cd not working? Its like its not even there. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and what they did to fix it please. I have six cds in there and I cant get it to eject or even play, nothing. Its like I dont have a cd player installed at all. Thanks in advance. |

Radio seems to be functioning, changes channels, CD mode, AM/FM, Time change works. Everything but nothing out of my speakers. Is there a separate fuse for the speakers??? Thanks |

| What fuses control my rear tail lights and my dashboard? I need to get this fixed and don't know which ones.. The door to the fuses use abbreviations which I am not familiar with. Example: int. lamps, pwr amp, panel dim, park lp, cluster...etc. A few are obvious but I am new at this. Can someone please help me? Recently divorced and never dealt with car issues before. | What the heck! Does anyone ever respond to these? I need to know what causes the cd player to constantly want to eject a cd that doesn't even show it has! It does this to the point it is killing my battery! It takes cds and puts them on top of others. It is really frustrating and I need answers like the rest of these other poor Durango owners. I have a 2004 Durango w/Hemi with the 6 disk changer. Please advise. Thank you. |
3204/29/11 22:18Niccibouse | starter went out and had it replaced. They had to unhook battery and after replacing it had reset everything in vehicle. I had 6 cds in player and now none will eject and you cant load and the mode button wont even work to change to cd.. it just stays on radio. Apparently this happens alot so is this a recall that will be paid for if I have to get it fixed by dealer if its not an easy fix I could do myself and how do I fix? |
