2006 DURANGO FRONT HEATER BLOWERI HAVE A 2006 DODGE DURANGO SLT.
MY FRONT HEATER BLOWER STOPED WORKING. I PURCHASED A NEW ONE AND IT WILL NOT WORK EITHER. I CHECKED VOLTAGE AND THE BLUE AND WHITE AND BLUE WIRE HAVE VOLTAGE THEN I GROUNDED THE SCREW ON THE BLOWER MOTOR AND THEY BOTH WORK BUT WILL NOT SHUT OFF. I UNDERSTAND ITS A GROUND PROBLEM BUT HOW CAN I FIX THIS TO MAKE IT WORK RIGHT
ANY HELP WOULD BE APRICIATED

|A quick question...is the blower totally inoperable or will it run at the highest speed? I ask this because on the inside of the vehicle, mounted on the blower ducting, there is a speed resistor. When the resistor goes bad the blower will only run in high speed. I had a similar problem several years ago on my Durango. Resistor is under $20 and relatively easy to replace.|
Hope this helps. - Jeff
