I HAVE A 2006 DODGE DURANGO SLT.MY FRONT HEATER BLOWER STOPED WORKING. I PURCHASED A NEW ONE AND IT WILL NOT WORK EITHER. I CHECKED VOLTAGE AND THE BLUE AND WHITE AND BLUE WIRE HAVE VOLTAGE THEN I GROUNDED THE SCREW ON THE BLOWER MOTOR AND THEY BOTH WORK BUT WILL NOT SHUT OFF. I UNDERSTAND ITS A GROUND PROBLEM BUT HOW CAN I FIX THIS TO MAKE IT WORK RIGHT ANY HELP WOULD BE APRICIATED

A quick question...is the blower totally inoperable or will it run at the highest speed? I ask this because on the inside of the vehicle, mounted on the blower ducting, there is a speed resistor. When the resistor goes bad the blower will only run in high speed. I had a similar problem several years ago on my Durango. Resistor is under $20 and relatively easy to replace.Hope this helps. - Jeff

I have a 2006 Durango and the blower went on it, had it replaced, approx. $300 going to pick it up now. Am requesting old motor to review/inspect. I find it hard to believe the motor would go?
