I was driving my 4.7 2WD Durando, when the 'engine light' turned on. Within seconds I heard thr transmission 'drop', and I was immediately slowed to about 40mph, and the tac revved up to about 5G's.I called the dealership, and they guessed I might have lost one of three speed sensors; one on the 'diff, and two on the trans. The price tag will run about $700 - $800, if I let them do it. How difficult is it to replace these sensors? Exactly where are they located? Thanks, Jeff

I guess my first question is, Is your vehicle still under warranty. If not, I would recommend maybe finding a reputable Transmission shop close to you. I just had on replaced at a recommended transmission shop for about $125. To answer one of your questions.
