i have a 2001 dodge dakota it overheated last year in the summer time so i turned it off. i figured it was the thermostat so i checked it and changed it out. ran fine for a few days than it started to get hot when it would just sit and idle but when i drove it it cooled down. than it died and will not start.it just turns over i joined the military and left but now i need to find out whats goin on if anyone knows it would be great

94 dodge dakota v8 engine quits every time I come to a stop once the engine gets hot.
