Just wondering if anyone has experienced problems while pumping gas with the pump turning off repeatedly. Someone suggested looking into the charcoal box, someone else suggested there may be air in the hose. Any suggestions?

your fuel tank vent line if clogged will make refueling slow. The gas nozzel will keep clicking off.

2005 dodge caravan: on four different days after putting in gas at various stations we had the same problem. We put in gas, drive a very short distance home, pull into the parking lot slowing down, the car stops in the middle of driving, everything shuts down, the steering wheel locks, the oil light goes on. We turn the key off, wait a minute or two then start the engine again. The engine takes a minute then we can drive again What is this? Why does it do this. It's not the gas since we used various kinds at different locations. HELP!

I have a 2005 Caravan just like Reply #2 KC. Did anybody find out whats causing this problem. As soon as you fill up your tank, the engine dies! Previous compliant below.
