my ac quit, i tried filling it with wal mart re fill, nothing changed...

i used proper ac re fill, didnt seem to be low.

the check engine light is on, i want to buy a diagnostic tool rather than pay the 80 to have a mechanic tell me what is wrong.

also i noticed my overhead temp direction compass was out, replaced fuse several times and each time it blew...

also the heater core must have a leak, i hear the gugle in the dash board, the heat seems to be better when i put in the ac re fill...

although heat does not seem to be at its fullest...

lots wrong anyone have any clues?

Hi,

I have dodge caliber 2007 RT. I have problem with the AC. When i start the engine, AC compressor works normaly till the heat of the engine reaches half. The compressor after that turns off. If i turn the engine off and on again, the AC will work for 15 seconds and then again turns off.

Can any one help me with this problem.

I HAVE 98 DODGE RAM 1500..AC COOLS GREAT FOR A WHILE THEN

BLOWS HOT AND THEN COOL AGAIN AFTER ABOUT A HALF HOUR. GUAGES

SHOW THE FREON IS FULL. THE COMPRESSER CUTS IN AND OUT. PLEASE

GIVE ME AN IDEAS YOU MIGHT HAVE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.THANKS IN ADVANCE...

Check that the high pressure cutout on the drier is not broke or the drier is not leaking under the switch. Mine was and it would cut out

If your heat is not working its because you don't have enough water. The a/c problelm is a vaccum problem it close and open the vent door and change where the cool are go. I have not been able to fix my air problem but its a company wide problem.

I have a 1998 ram 2500, 5.9 disel with problem of surging when the truck reaches a speed of 43 mph and then levels out after reaching 48 mph. I have changed out the throttle positioning sensor and still have a problem. Any suggestions?

I have an 03 dodge dakota quadcab. My air works but the water is draining into my cab. Whats the problem and what do i do???
