Dodge-1500 Pickup -
2001 ram 1500 temp guage

My temp guage has just started going to the overheating side. It does this with just the acc on first thing in the morning. It happens with the sensor hooked up or not. I have opened the harness and followed the wired in the engine compartment and all seeme fine. it has a 5.9L engine. I am lost -- please help. thanks in advance.
