Where is the thermostat located in daewoo lanos 2000-2001?

HI Dan,

I realize your posting is really old, but did you ever figure out where the thermostat is located on your daewo Lanos?

I have no heat and I'm sure that is what needs to be replaced, but I can't even find it!

thermostat is situated on top of motor. its only a skrew with a flat cable in head

hey guys where can i find the whole part of the thermostat for my 01 daewoo lanos, the only thing i keep finding is just the thermostat it self, , but on my car is a plastic part that conects the water hose and the engine and the thermostat is in side. thank you

The thermostat on the lanos is integral in the housing that bolts on to the front of the engine. It is the piece that the upper radiator hose clamps onto. The thermostat can't be replaced separately and I have been unable to find a replacement for it. If anyone has any ideas, please speak up. I am going to try to find a thermostat housing for a different vehicle that has the same diameter and try to retrofit it.

hi guys, I'm looking for thermostat for my daewoo racer too..Its kinda difficult to get it so far and i've been looking around for this. Hope you can help me on which supplier selling this thermostat..
