I have this same car, Im going to tell you right now to make fix the problem and make a forsale sign. My car is a pile of trash wrapped in a pretty wrapper. First the alternator, then the starter, then the fuel pump, then then cam and crank sensors and the timing chain, then an exuast leak, and now the starter again. This type of car is a mess. But in your car it sounds like the fuel pump, They run about $200.00, buy, replace and sell. I would reconment private sale since KBB has the trade in value listed at $1, 600.00 for excellent condition.

My Concorde has the 3.2 V6 and runs excellent. It has relatively low miles for its age and has been maintained on schedule.Nothing major has gone wrong, but I have replaced the following: * Front struts * Front subframe bushings (4 of them) Recently, I have noticed excessive starting. However, once the car starts it runs perfect...sounds like a fuel issue. Mechanic says he wants to perform a 'leak down' test on the fuel pump (in the tank) and he is right on target. Replaced the fuel pump and my Concorde is 100% again. Every car is different, but with regular scheduled maint it should last another 100k miles.

Is it still possible that its the fuel pump if it starts just fine when the engine is hot? I'm having the same problem.
