Loss of everything electrical

Car started without a problem. Went to roll down the power windows & they would not work. The radio, turn signals, interior lights, break lights, A/C & everything electrical was dead. The car drove fine. Got home shut down & re-started about 2 hours later and everything worked. This happened 2 times in the past, about 5 years ago. This is the first time since then. Any ideas as where to look?
