does the 2005 suburban 1500 have a fuel filter?

Yes inside the fule tank and a part of the fuel pump assembly.I am currently having problems with my suburban when I attempt to start it. Apparently the fuel pump assembly is causing the fuel pressure to bleed off.

I'm getting ready to replace my second fuel pump on my 05 Suburban. The first wsa covered by warranty, but this one is on me. Anyone know of this coming up in any recalls?

Has anyone had to change the vapor canister valve...I am having one hell of a time trying to find the correct canister valve for the 2005 surburban 1500 w/flex fuel

fuel tanks are pretty simple to take off, first take the plastic cover off then theres two straps hold it up on each side, a few fuel lines to dissconnect beforehand on top nd/or the front. then theres a bracket you take off that holds the pump in the tank, just remember to change the little oil ring everytime, and just to letcha know, theres some years were gm trucks dont have a fuel filter. and.....some 05's have warrenty still, i recommend just letting a professional at it.
