Has anyone ever successfully added A/C to a Sprint Turbo. Chevy was unable to.

Hey, I just bought an 87 Sprint Turbo that has A/C on it. Everything is there including the buttons and stuff on the dash. Is my sprint an odd ball. I also have a sprint turbo with cruise control and a GM Sunroof.

My turbo sprint has A/C and cruise control. The blower works, but may not be cooling anymore. Live in Phoenix so can't tell.

Just found a '87 Sprint Turbo in my local Pick-a-Part - it has a factory A/C for what that's worth, and I'm very tempted to take the whole thing to put on my '85 Sprint. As a matter of fact, the engine is there, except for the intercooler - I'm tempted to take the engine plus the A/C, but would like to know if anyone has done this change??? Anyone have a lead on an intercooler? Also, I have the Haynes manual for my '85, but it does not include the Turbo model - anyone know of a manual that does?
