Chevrolet-Silverado 1500 Pickup -
A/C doesn't get cold in the cab, but the pipes under hood get really cold?

I have 2 1500's, one a 2002 and the other a 2005 quadrasteer. The '05 A/C will not get cold, even though good temp transfer takes place in the tubes under the hood. I suspect automatic door changes in the air system. Any suggestions?
