Chevrolet-Silverado 1500 Pickup -
05 chev 4.3L NO START WHEN COLD OUT SIDE

I have a 05 chev pu with a 4.3l that will not start when it is about -10 below, let it sit inside for a while and it will start up and run all day, there is no water in the fuel, any ideas?

Gary, check your fuel regulator. The 4.3's had a bad problem with them. Also, are you running a cold air intake? that could also be the problem

I had the same problem last winter it was so cold i think my battery froze up i jumped it and it took about 10 to 15 minutes to start and it started real hard. Oh by the way i am still using the same battery and it works fine.
