oxygen sensor location - Chevrolet-S10 Pickup
oxygen sensor locationI have a 2003 S-10 2whl. drive, 4.3Liter engine truck. What I need to know is; where is the before the converter oxygen sensor located on my engine? My truck is an auto tranny. My engine code in the V.I.N. isw "X".......Thanks in advance..Larry

|There are two, |
one is located under the engine near the cadalidic converter driver side the other is a ways back closer to the fuel supply.
You need a specual socket for that they cost about $12.
|hi all i have a 2002 s10 pick up 4.3 vin. w .. with eng light on. i had it diagnose and it comes up sensor 1 bank 2 ive been told it has 4 sensors but i can only find 3 is it that it onli has three ?.and is the sensor im looking for is the one that on the pasenger side before the cat.? thanks in advance. any help would be appreciated..|
|it was closer to the fuel supply. try searching for some good parts when you do have problems|
|i have 1984 chevy s10, just replaced the fuel pump, now it stalls and gas gauge stopped working. could it be the o2 censor? exactly how many censors are their and what are their purposes? I have read that the o2 censor on this year model is reccomended to be changed as regular maintenance at 60k miles, does that sound right to you?|

The check engine light is on and the code reads po135 bank 1 sensor 1. I have changed this sensor 3 times with the autozone
bosch sensors . Same code . Im told that maybe the after market sensor wont work on my truck is this true or do I need to look elsewhere for the problem .
