Ignition problem - Chevrolet Lumina LS 2002 model

After center lock open, the red LED on the security blinks ( even faster than normal speed ). When key insert and start the car not make the ignition. It happened couple of time. Once again center lock open and close the Security LED not blinks ( OFF completely ), then car starts normally. What might be the problem? Some times I use to lock the car using key itself.
