I have a 96 lumina with 3 problems first one is when you press the gas it hesitates or falls on its face 50% of the time. I replaced plugs wires fuel filter and mass flow sensor and it still does it. Second one is when driving and heater or air is on panel when you press the gas pedal it quits blowing air.. Third one is a annoying clunking in the rear of the car.

Please any advise would be great..

I had severe gas intake problems with my 96 Lumina....Could not keep it started to even drive. It would cut off and hiss, spit, skip, and anything else besides start. I'm not a mechanic, but I also had to replace everything you listed. Still car was acting up. Finally a friend of mine put it on a computer and said to replaced the oxygen sensor.....took care of the problem...Hope this helps.. Thank goodness, I dont have the fan problem or clucking. But I am having trouble with the VATS Ignition. Key won't start it. Anyway good luck.

I have a 2005 Blazer, auto, 4 wheel dr. As I am driving, I step on the gas, there is a noticable clunk comming from the back of the truck. It doesn't matter if I am lightly touching the gas or step on it a little harder {like to pass}. It happens every time. Does anyone know how to fix this without it costing me a small fortune?

I have a 96 lumina and my brake lights go on and off, my horn stopped working and My windshield washer solovent wont come out, my radio turns up on it's own at times, any suggestions as to what could be wrong?

I have a 1996 Chevy Lumina 3.1L, the transmission

is back up on Reverse. what do you think the problem

might be? It drives forward with no problem.

i have a 96 lumina 3.1L we changed the head gasket and it won't start somethings wrong with the fuel..if we hook the fuel pump up direct it will run until it floods its self ..but hooking the fuel pump up normal it will not start..whats wrong with it?
