1964 Impala 2dr. hrd top. restored in 1999, red with pearl top. crush red velvet interior. fresh 350 4bolt main done at time of resto. car has approx 836miles since resto, been in storage for last 5 years. i have a 64 and i need to know the measurements for mounting antenna's on the rear ? hole placement on the body on each side and hole dia. i know it goes inbetween trunk edge and out side of edge of car .but need some type of reference point to measure from so they are placed in the correct spot maybe starting form the top edge of the trunk and measure down but i don't know how far down ?thanks, if you can help!

I have the same car[64. HT. SS. Answer to antena question, 3inches from rear edge of gas filler cover. then the center from the edge of the trunk to the edge of the fender. I really can't remember the hole size, but the figure of 7/8th. rings a bell. The antena should follow the same angle as the trunk lid when it is open to it's fullest. Have fun Dan.

hi i thought this was for a different car, yours is way too expensive, I was looking for a 64 convertible for 1500.00 but not interested in paying anymore.
