i want to know what will give me the best horsepower gain for the least amount of money i allready have a k&n air filter system my car is a 97 2.2l cavalier

well since u r lookin for some hp for cheap, u might want to put on the whole intake system, underdrive crank pulley, and maybe headers, which i just happened too look at are $240 with the downpipe,(http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-24324.cfm)thats the website, so that should give u a lil' more boost... feel free to email me if anyone got some more questions, i own a 99 cavalier z24 and i'm pushing just a bit over 240hp thats for now

Looking for some horses for some 96 cav's. racing in a UCAR class where we are restricted. Cannot install aftermarket parts like intakes or exhaust. Is there a mass meter replacement that can be made for more horses? We run manual trans so will a Z24 trans be a different(lower) gear ratio for more horses off the corner? Any help is appreciated! Peeps i have a 1999 cavalier z24 with 2200 sfi its an automatic im jus wondering how much the stock horse is in it im looking to buy a performance chip, cold air intake system, and some racing headers, if u know how much horse tht would give this thing let me know aight peace out

anyone looking for forced induction power for 03 and newer cavaliers should look into the supercharger thats on the cobalt SS. the 2.2L engine SHOULD be the same. and i also have a question: i just installed a header, high flow cat and catback system on my 02 z24. and i noticed a hole in the front of the engine that exhaust is coming out of. i looked at a stock z24 and the same hole is there un-covered also. so what is it and what can i do to get rid of the annoying ticking sound?

hey i own a 2005 chevy cavalier ls sport and was wonderin what i sould put in it to replace the engine. i wont to have some power to it and i dont wont to get another car i wont this one. So if anyone can give me some suggestion on how to get it to max at 200mph then can u plz let me know. tips on visual upgrades would be nice too.
