Hello friends,

I am the owner of a cavalier 2.2 and living

in the Dominican Republic.

The car has a stantard transmisson and a local

shop changed the complete clutch

( disc/pres.plate and ring) but anforgently

nobody knows how to bleed the system to make

it work again.

My question will be if there is any special

way to do it or could be another part failing

They alredy changed the master cylinder but

the hydraulic system still get air in it.

Could you discribe exactly the steps to bleed

the system without run in trouble again.

they supouse bleed the clutch on the same way you do with the rear brake{they are drums on rear}, just press the clutch pedal 4 times, keep the foot pressing down the pedal, minwile other partner open the bleeding bolt uper the transmission case .wen you open the hood you can see it very clear... ...hope this could help you... bye

replaced clutch cylinder and slave cylinder , also blew out cylinder line. replaced fluids and still not getting hydraulic pressure when bleeding system. no leaks in lines, whats next.blead both clucth and slave cylinders and still not working.1990 chevy pick-up 1500 standard.

i made the mistake of putting suntan oil in my crank case and it now runs like a champ.
