Chevrolet-Blazer - Bleeding brakes on a 98 Blazer

I have a 98 Blazer. I had a frozen caliper on the right rear. I replaced caliper and hose and tried old fashioned bleeding and got nowhere. I read a post on a newer truck about turning ignition on, putting steady pressure on the pedal, bleeding L/R then R/R, turn ignition off, pumping pedal 20-30 times, turn ignition back on, then steady pressure & bleed L/F then R/F. Before I try this, does anyone know if this is the proceedure for the 98 Blazer?
