Ok so my husband bought a 98 chevy blazer 4.3 V-6 Vortec blah blah. It wasent running when he bought it but the guy said it was the fuel pump.. Well we changed that and a few other things to do with the fuel.. But still wouldent start.. Unless we prime it.. Well we gave up on that and tried somthing else that a guy told us about.. We bought a new battery changed cap & rotors changed lots of ignition coil, pickup coil(?), Camshaft position sensons, crank position sensons, and a few others I dont remember, some1 just told me it might be the distributor, thats what we will be changing next.. If its not that does any1 have any other ideas what it might be? We've changed lots of things that I dident post cuz I cant remember..

if it runs when primed it is a fuel problem, check fuel pressure, probably pump, GM uses the worst ones in the world, if you consistently run your tank below 1/4 will burn up pump, had one melt the wires all the way from top of tank to pump, GM said it was ok they never had one blow up before.

the blazer loses power and oil pressure gauge goes to 0 then stalls out
