I'm looking to buy a 72 k5 with a removable top. I would like it to be running or at least only really need an engine. I have to sell my 03 sunfire with 72k miles on it before i can buy anything over $2000. So, if anybody has an impossible deal or knows of one where someone is trying to sell a 72 k5 for $2000 or less, please let me know.

I have a 1970 Blazer that spent most its life in the dry, rust free weather of El Paso, Texas. My dad was the original owner and now I've inherited it but don't have time to restore it to its original glory. Manual transmission, original paint, minor rust on drivers side floorboard, no major accidents, the black hardtop has never been removed, and it was never used for 4 wheelin. In 1997 we installed a refurbished 350 engine but since then we only put about 500 miles for various reasons none of which were related to the truck's ability. The last time the motor was run was approximately 5 years ago, so I have no idea was state the engine is in. I bought a brand new gas tank for it last year but never installed it. Front and back axles are original but it was converted to a 2x4 many years ago and I no longer have the 4x4 transfer case. Tires are brand new, but again its sat up for about 5 years so not sure if they are still usable. There's to much history to this truck to describe here, so call me for more details.
