I have a 89 chevy 1500 5.7 that dies the other day. It just stopped running and had it towed. It has fuel pressure and the pick up coil and module have been changed. I used the noid lights and the inj are not pulsing. Hooked up a scan tool and when I turn the ign on the scan tool goes dead.

Any thoughts on what is causing this issue?

Check Ground wire on the tank. had the same thing

I have a 1998 chevy silverado 2wdrive 1500 series truck.have replaced everything. sometimes it will start and other times it won't, starts like its going to, but than doesn't. the only way to start it is to unhook the battery terminals, touch them together to reset the computer and than it will start. mechanics up here have no idea what they are doing and the diagnostic machine tells us nothing. any ideas? i'm desparat.
