2004 1500 silverado AC unit quit

I have a 2004 silverado...My AC went out and doesnt blow air thru the vents...but when i drive...cold air comes inthe vents. It also makes a weird noise...like a creaking bed under the dash...is this my blower motor busted? or something else?
