My truck bogs out every time I try to take off. You can rev it up and it will work great, but if you try to take off it will bog out for a feww hundred feet and then take off like there is nothing wrong. After that it runs fine until you shut it off again and then it will do it all over again. It runs fine and dosen't cut out at all. I have replaced the fuel pump, but it didn't make any difference. I have seen a lot of problems like this posted before, but never once does it say how they fixed it.

Have you replaced the fuel filter?

I have a 99 chevy silverado z71...mine was doing this a while back. I started with changing the feul filter numerous times and it did not work. Then I brought it to a mechanic and they pulled my feul tank off and changed my feul pump and all 8 injectors, but they did not look inside my feul tank. So it happened again. The final outcome was metal shavings in my feul tank. Had to change all 8 injectors again, feul pump filter, feul filter, and get all the shavings out of my feul tank. Since all this, truck has ran fine.
