I have a 98 ETC, that I purchased new, with 71K miles on it. I have had a problem with the car that appeared when it had very low miles, and was under warranty, but continues to this day.

The problem is in the stability/traction control/suspension system. Periodically, the Traction Control Light comes on, which causes me to lose the use of 1st gear. It eventually goes off. The EBCM has been replaced, along with the front wheel hub's and sensors and a lot of other stuff, the electronic shocks check out, and I am at wits end.

As a practical matter, the drive and feel of the car never seem to be affected. I am tired of spending time and money on this issue. Is there a way to bypass the various computer systems so that the suspension simply acts like that of a normal car?
