2002 Eldorado - ASC ceiling console light - blinking

I have a 2002 El Dorado with a sun roof. A few days ago, one of the lights on the ceiling console started blinking, and I have NO IDEA what it's for. The ceiling buttons have the usual three plus one:
Open, Close, Vent - AND
ASC. It's this ASC button that's blinking red - on and off.
What does this mean?

Well not sure but I have seen ASC in books stand for Acessorie power.

ASC stands for "Automatic sunroof close".
When the light is out the sunroof will automatically close when the key is turned off and a door opened.
When the button is pushed, the light turns red to remind you this function is turned off, so you don't accidently leave it open when you park the car.
It should be a steady red light though, not blinking unless someone wired it that way.
