while driving the check engine light came on and the engine started missing badly, i continued to drive home and when i got home i thought the car was on fire i dont know if it was because of the dead hole or not, i changed the plugs to eliminate that and still had miss.

any ideas?

Hi there, try to check if the firing order is right. I also suspect a bad spark plug wire.

My car has a "misfire" check engine light won't come off and no one has bee able

To give me any anwnsers . It stalls while driving when I step on the gas it has a hard

Time accelarating?

I have a 92 frod f-150 with a straight 6. My check engien light comes on after the motor warms up but it goes off again. It usually comes on when I start to slow down and let off my gas .

I have changed my plugs , roter , cap, and fule filter. It also has a slight miss in it.

I had the same problem with my Audi and it was the coils. Just change the coils and the problem will go away.
